A number of new CE marking directives will be applicable from 2016 as part of an update under the New Legislative Framework or NLF.
Whilst theses directives have “entered into force”, they won’t become applicable until 2016.
For most directive, including EMC and LVD, the changes relate mainly to “economic operators in the supply chain” such as Authorised Representatives, Importers and Distributors.
